Master Backup Batteries provide numerous advantages including long service life, rugged constructions, extreme temperature performance, fast recharge, high discharger rates and low internal resistance.

ADVANTAGES
• Long service life
• Rugged contruction
• Extreme temperature performance
• Fast recharge
• High discharge rates
• Low internal resistance
• UL and CE certified

Charging
To obtain maximum service and capacity along with optimum recharge time and economy, constant-current charge should initially be made with current 0.3CA or less and followed by a constant voltage charge. Any extra charge after the battery has been fully recharged is called overcharge. Continued overcharge will shorten the battery life.

Discharge
The battery should never be discharged to less then predetermined final voltage. Otherwise over discharge may cause failure to recover capacity even by recharging. For best effiency, discharge should be between the range of 0.05C to 2C.

Temperature Effect
Capacity of a battery is subjected to the influence of ambient temperature and discharge rate. Low temperature (below 5° F,15°C) may reduce the available capacity. High temperature (over 122°F, 50°C) may bring about thermal run-way and damage the battery.
